The Kansas City Chiefs game schedule
The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The team was founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt and was a charter member of the American Football League (AFL). In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and assumed their current name. The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the merger in 1970. The team is valued at over $2 billion. Hunt’s son, Clark, serves as chairman and CEO.
The franchise has won three AFL championships, in 1962, 1966, and 1969 and became the second AFL team (after the New York Jets) to defeat an NFL team in an AFL–NFL World Championship Game when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV. Their victory on January 11, 1970 was the final such competition prior to the leagues’ merge; it remains to be seen if any future schism between professional football leagues will give rise to such a game again. The Chiefs were also one of two teams that played in both the AFC–NFC Pro Bowl game (1971) and NFC–AFC Pro Bowl game (1972), losing both times. In Super Bowl I against Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi, Hunt hired Stram because he thought Lombardi would never let him win; however he did exactly that by defeating Lombardi’s Packers 35–10 in Super Bowl IV for what was then called “the biggest upset in sports history”. They have reached ten AFC Championship games since 1970, winning seven of them with appearances in five Super Bowls: I, IV , VI , IX , and X . They are also one of only two teams who have won four consecutive AFC West Division titles since 1970(along with their rival Oakland Raiders from 1972-1976) With nine trips to total between them(not including playoffs), they hold joint-second place for appearing most times along side each other.(second behind only Denver Broncos-Oakland Raiders with 10 trips apiece). They have appeared together 9 times(including playoffs); but have only met 5 times or less 3 other times: 1974(playoffs), 1999(week 16), & 2020–2021(playoffs).

The Kansas City Chiefs’ rivalry with the Oakland Raiders
The Kansas City Chiefs have had a long-standing rivalry with the Oakland Raiders. The two teams first played each other in 1960, when the Chiefs were still in the AFL. The two teams have played each other every year since then, with the exception of 1969, when the Chiefs moved to the NFL.
The Chiefs and Raiders have both been very successful over the years. The Chiefs have won 3 Super Bowls, while the Raiders have won 2. The two teams have also met in the playoffs 10 times, with the Chiefs winning 6 of those games.
The most recent meeting between the two teams was in Week 14 of the 2017 season, when the Chiefs beat the Raiders 21-13.
